Elephants Dream will be showing at the Future Film Festival 2007, in Bologna, Italy, on Saturday’s (Jan 20) schedule. In addition, Andy and I will be there to talk about the movie, how we made it, and a bit about the open movie experience.
That’s not what I meant. I mean if you’re going to write about your dream, you would write “Bassam’s Dream” not “Bassams Dream” the apostrope-s (’s) indicated that it is possesive. If an elephant was dreaming something, it would be called the “elephant’s dream” if several elephants were dreaming it it would be called the “elephants’ dream.” Otherwise, the title doesn’t make sense.
I was just curious if this is a typographical error, of if it has some other hidden meaning.
hehe,ok I understood. It’s not necessarily a gramatical error: for instance: “ducks swim”,” wind blows” don’t need an apostrophe. For an open movie, we like the ambiguity that might make you feel more welcome to supply your own meanings. Besides, the making of “Making Elephants Dream” sounds like a demented science experiment ;)

Ok, I’m honestly just curious, but shouldn’t the title be:
“elephant’s dream”?
It has to be someone’s dream, so surely elephant must be possesive.
